The heart of Begijnhoeve

Since 2010 Begijnhoeve is focussing on its own breeding program. Our goal is to create exeptional dressage horses and we use our own mares and stallions to reach that goal. Every year we breed about 12 foals and we keep them till they are three years old. At that point they are sold or we start their education to become a dressage horse.

Sporthorses

We own several horses that are mainly deployed for the sport. We educate them all the way to the Grand Prix whenever that’s within the possibilities of the horse. Are you looking for a nice sporthorse? Feel free to contact us.

Breeding mares

The mares we use for breeding are carefully selected. We only use strong and of course healthy mares. Most of our topsportmares are used through embryo transplantation and this way they have 1 or 2 foals each year.

Youngstock
